In this SEO Tutorial, I shall
discuss about Google Indexing for blogger blog. We have discussed about some
important topics of On-Page section in the previous SEO Tutorials. Now we need
to submit our site in the search engines especially in Google.
Although the blogger blogs are
automatically indexed in Google. Nevertheless, we shall index our blogger blog
in Google by reason of submitting properly.
Google
Indexing: You will be able to submit your blogger blog in Google
very easily by following this SEO Tutorial. Follow the steps below.
1. At first, log in https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools.
Copy your blog URL and paste it into the “ADD PROPERTY” box and click on “ADD
PROPERTY”.
2. After submitting your blog
URL, you will be shown that “Property added. Please check you email for a
message with next steps”. So, check your g-mail to confirm your submission.
3. Come again in webmasters tools
Dashboard. Click upper right settings drop down menu and select “Verification
Details”. Then click on “verify using a different method”.
4. After that, you will see a
list. Select “HTML tag” from here.
5. When you will select “HTML
tag”, you will be provided a HTML code in the box.
6. Copy the HTML meta tag and
paste it into your site’s “Edit HTML” option. It should go in the <head>
section, before the first <body> section. That is to say, you should
paste this code below the first <head> and save template.
7. After that, you will be shown
that “Congratulations, you have successfully verified your ownership of (your
site’s name)”.
