SEO Tutorial - The Forms of SEO

In SEO Tutorial (Part-2), I have discussed about the Objectives of SEO. Now I shall discuss about SEO Tutorial (Part-3) – the major segmentation of SEO or the forms of SEO.

SEO is the short form of Search Engine Optimization and it’s divided into several parts. There are two kinds of SEO such as Paid SEO and Organic SEO.

Paid SEO: Paid SEO is also known as SEM- the short form of Search Engine Marketing. Paid SEO is the process of obtaining website visitors on paid ads on search engines. If you pay to the search engines, search engines will show your website at the first page of search engine result pages as an ad of web page. Though any website can be displayed at the first page of SERPs through paid, but visitors don’t like to visit on paid websites.

Organic SEO: Organic SEO is a natural SEO by which you will be able to reach your website at the first page of the search engine result pages without paid. It is a technique and visitors like to visit in this type of websites. You will be able to acquire the knowledge of gaining page rank through Organic SEO Tutorial.

There are two major segmentation of Organic SEO such as On-Page SEO and Off-Page SEO.

On-Page SEO: On-Page SEO or On-Page Optimization refers to how well and quality your website’s contents are presented to search engines. On the whole process of internal pages of the website is On-Page Optimization. Web design, Sitemap, Quality Contents, Meta Tag & Meta Description, Heading Tags, Effective Keywords, Search Engine Indexing are very important works for this type of SEO.

Off-Page SEO: Off-Page SEO or Off-Page Optimization refers to the techniques that are applied to gain the position of a website at the first page of the SERPs (Search Engine Result Pages). Off-Page SEO is very important for any website. These are the activities outside the boundaries of the website. It is not possible to bring any website at the first page of the SERPs without Off-Page Optimization. Social Bookmarking, Backlink Create, Blog/ Forum/ Article/ Answer/ Comments Posting, Press Release, Web 2.0 Link Building, .gov/.edu Link Building, Web Directory Submission, Yellow Pages Submission, RSS Submission, Classified Ads Posting, Craigslist, Business Network Submission, Social Media Submission, Facebook Marketing, YouTube Marketing, Google Map Marketing, Lead Generation are some of the very important works for this type of SEO.
